Hand-carved shell cameo depicts the goddess Flora, Roman goddess of flowers, with a spray of flowers in her hair and on her bodices. It is really a beautiful and collectible cameo. This is made by Ostby & Barton, a famous jewelry company established by Engelhard Ostby and Nathan Barton in 1879. Engelhard Ostby actually passed away in the Titanic.
