An antique solid 15 carat gold (tests thereabouts) brooch; beautifully made, and set with an exceptionally finely hand carved natural shell cameo, depicting Nyx & Eos, goddesses of Night & Day, attended by an owl and an eagle. CONDITION : All original and very, very good. Faintest signs of wear commensurate with age and use. DIMENSIONS : 63 x 52 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm).
