Exceptionally rare pair of antique wooden curtain pole brackets, with a carved acanthus leaf design, gilded over a layer of gesso. English late Georgian to early Victorian period, dating from the first half of the 19th century.

Approximately 33 cm high, 24 cm deep, 5 cm wide; pole hole 6 cm diameter. Condition : Gesso and gilded flaking, solid structure, no worn damage, general surface wear and scratches.
