Please take a moment to read the entire description and view all of the photographs. Presented is a pair of antique c1870 earrings in 14K gold. The drops have an ornate frame with a leaf design dangling inside. The frames have leaf motifs and are set with carved coral roses and cameos in bezel settings.

The leaves all have fine hand-engraved detailing. These hang on simple 14K wire hooks which are later replacements (a lot of these Victorian drop earrings were converted to screwbacks in the 20C, so these probably went from wires to screwbacks and are now wires again). They have beautiful details and a lovely open quality.

Earrings are unmarked but tested & guaranteed 14K. Overall 1 7/8 by 15/16. Earrings are in good antique condition, the coral carvings all show varying degrees of wear and softening to the details--please study all photos.

No repairs, replacements, breaks, or structural damage. Gold shows some patina which I left but it could be cleaned if desired. Sales are final unless an item is found to be meaningfully misdescribed. All items are preowned, vintage, or antique, and should be assumed to show acceptable signs of age and gentle use, which can include light tarnish and/or minor surface wear.
