Antique Victorian Carved Giltwood Nursing Chair

A very pretty Victorian giltwood occasional chair. The oval upholstered back with ribbon tied cresting and over a pierced central splat flanked by a pair of channel moulded supports, the sprung seat upon a pair of lobed baluster front supports with original brass castors.

A very pretty chair in good condition, the upholstery is pink damask with a rope trim, the gilding is original with red gesso showing in places. It is very clean and useable however I can arrange re-covering if preferred - please contact me for further details.
