Victorian 1837 - 1901 This Fabulous Necklace will come in a Ribbon Tied Gift Box and would make a GORGEOUS GIFT! A beautiful understated antique Victorian carnelian agate beads necklace. Made up of large olive shaped carved beads, gently graduating in size, in wonderful amber colours.

The necklace is a lovely elegant long length. It fastens with a Victorian 18ct gold clasp, denoting high quality.

The beads are hand-knotted, and the string still seems good and strong. You just can't beat a hand-knotted necklace for strength and durability and this has certainly stood the test of time. Some of the beads have natural and age related imperfections, but nothing which detracts from their immense charm - they are in lovely condition for well over 100 years old. You can literally Feel the Quality when you hold this in your hands. Measures approximately: 28 or 71.5cm The largest bead measures a Whopping 22mm!
