Pendant: Large Antique Carved Chinese White Jade Bird, Prong Set within an open, Hand Wrought 9k Gold Frame; 2.5 L x 1-5/8 W & Jade is 1.5 L x 1-1/8 W; Weighs 18.8g; Great condition for its age! Because of the setting, I believe this piece was made in the late 1800s/early 1900s.

Chinese Export jewelry became popular during the late Victorian Period and lasted until the 1960s. During these periods Chinese Craftsmen, Jewelers, & Stone cutters were by far considered to be the best in the world.
