Victorian 14K Gold, Carved Agate Intaglio of Hercules Pendant, Fob Charm

A Victorian era intaglio pendant of Hercules wearing the Nemean lions skin, carved in a milky white agate stone surrounded by a 14K gold frame. Originally a large watch fob seal, this piece now lives on as a very wearable pendant. The central carving is done incredibly well with great details of Hercules face and the lions head. Metal: 14K Yellow Gold (acid tested). Agate Intaglio: 23.7 mm long by 19.5 mm wide by 4.2 mm deep. Measurements: 1.2 inches long (additional 0.2 inch bail) by 1.0 inch wide. Condition: In very good antique condition with some minor surface wear consistent with age. This was an antique fob/seal that was later converted into a pendant.
