Victorian 18ct Gold Coral Ball Snake Pendant Coral Ball Finial Entwined Snake

A beautiful and rare antique Victorian carved coral ball finial drop pendant, with an 18ct solid gold snake wrapped around it. A large peachy coloured natural coral ball, 1.5cm diameter, with a beautifully modelled snake twisting around the coral, its head resting at the bottom of the ball. The tail coils around at the top and forms a generous sized fixed bale for hanging on a chain.

Unmarked but fully tested 18ct gold, a weighty piece. Measuring approximately 3cm top to bottom.
