Victorian 19C Antique Rebecca at the Well Carved Shell Cameo 60mm X large brooch
Beautiful Victorian carved shell extra large cameo with Biblical scene of Rebecca at the well. The cameo is set in unmarked gold metal bezel with a twisted rope frame. I think gold-filled, possibly low carat gold. The original C hook clasp was jeweler-replaced at some point with a small rolling lock clasp, and a safety stick clasp was also added to secure this large brooch when worn. The brooch is 2-7/8 high and the cameo itself is 60mm x 45mm in size.
