Victorian Antique 14K Carnelian intaglio Stick Pin, carving of a Roman Warrior

The antique stick pin features a beautifully detailed, rectangle shaped, reddish brown carnelian intaglio depicting the profile of a Roman Warrior. The intaglio is set in a smooth, gold bezel setting surrounded by a twisted wire border, and affixed to a "V" shaped support. The piece is fitted to a straight pin stem.
