The cabochon is prong set and surrounded by a wreath of leaves crafted in 14 karat yellowish-green gold, which are interspersed by 8, 2mm round cut prong set diamonds. Carved into the surface of the oval emerald is a beautiful floral design in leaves! Due to the fact that this is a natural and humongous emerald, which is rare, the stone is highly included.It it transparent to translucent, and light green in color. It is in overall EXCELLENT antique condition. It is hallmarked 14K along with a makers mark on the back of the pendant. The pendant itself measures approximately 35mm tall (bale not included), by 27mm wide. The emerald cabochon itself measures approximately 27mm tall by 19.5mm wide, and weighs approximately 34 CARATS. It hangs from a 21 long, 2mm wide, 14 karat yellow gold chain. The total weight of this piece is 23.3 grams!
